Commitment to Fighting Racism

The First 5 Marin Children and Families Commission is in full support of the message of Black Lives Matter. We invite all of our partners— as individuals and as organizations– to commit with us to examine our own unconscious bias and racism and the part we play in perpetuating the systematic factors that underlie and directly contribute to the suffering, oppression and discrimination of Black and Brown individuals, families and children across our country and here at home in Marin County. We pledge to work individually and as an organization to uproot racism and inequity through our actions, decisions and communications

The Commission meets nine times a year on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (there are no meetings in December, July and August unless otherwise noted).
